'Inventing Appearances' Lunenburg Exhibition + Work in Toronto & Australia

Join me at Skullduggery Gallery • 141 Pelham Street in Lunenburg on Friday, May 20th for the Opening Reception of 'Inventing Appearances', new portraits by Lahave artist Corey J. Isenor.

Taken at the 2015 Rockabilly Picnic in Broad Cove, these photographs are a sampling of community members in costume, dressed to highlight both their personalities and wardrobe. Through the images we find new characters, both invented and original.

Reception: 6PM - 9PM • Refreshments & Nibbles
Gallery Hours will vary depending on my availability. Stop by or check here for times.

Additionally, I am participating in The Darkroom 5.0 at 918 Bathurst in Toronto, ON this year. The Dark Room 5.0 is a juried exhibition that showcases the many processes of analog and alternative photography, and the exciting work these methods produce. Unlike previous exhibitions, this is a one-day only event. On May 17, the public and a select jury are invited to vote. Public voting will take place between the hours of 10 AM and 8 PM, and there will be an awards ceremony at 918 Bathurst beginning at 9 PM. Artists selected for the official exhibition will be eligible for cash prizes and awards provided by our sponsors and partners. There are three prize categories: Best In Show, Most Innovative, and People's Choice.

You can follow the event on Fakebook and find more details here.

Lastly, I'm a Finalist in this years edition of The Adventure Handbook Photo Competition.
